Innumerable marginalized children and adults in rural areas are forced to spend the nights shivering in cold every year as they are unable to have warm clothing in winters. Trembling in the cold weather throughout the night, some old people even give up their lives. Normally, it is reported that these passed away because of the cold.
On the other hand, the reality is that they succumbed to the cold because of the unavailability of warm clothing. For the privileged, the thought of winter reminds them of cozy warm clothing and sipping warm coffee. But the poverty-stricken people in remote areas have to fight for even surviving with every dropping degree of temperature.
The TJH Foundation conducts the distribution of warm clothes for deprived children and adults in remote areas to ensure their safety in the winters. We regularly distribute fleece, warm clothes, and other winter clothes in our project areas of intervention. The beneficiaries include children of all ages and adults as well.
