Overview - Strategic Plan: 2026–2030

Introduction

The Strategic Plan for the years 2026 to 2030 has been outlined by the TJH Foundation as an expression of our augmented commitment with a new vision. The objective is to achieve the transformation of the lives of innumerable unprivileged children in rural India as they form the core of all our activities and interventions.

At the macro level, we aim to promote the mission of the Nation Building by empowering these children to develop as the self-reliant youth of the future. It is also our aim to enhance our collaboration with the various stakeholders ensuring optimum reach to the beneficiaries both quantitatively and qualitatively.

All the stakeholders and collaborators of the TJH Foundation are equipped with an explicit vision through the Strategic Plan. It is to appreciate the unique paradigm shift in our modus operandi and the implementation of various initiatives. The plan has been drafted very cautiously through a process of consultation with diverse experts and stakeholders.

The aim is to ensure sustainable results in an operational environment that is both challenging and stimulating. The strategy is an amalgamation of learning of the past years and the present dynamics and decisive factors.

Initiating the new phase of the Strategic Plan

The TJH Foundation has developed the Strategic Plan as a process for envisioning and establishing the conspicuous path enhancing the relevance of its mission in the current context. Our purposeful initiatives aim to achieve the translation of human values into social action empowering marginalized children in rural areas.

We have been rendering valuable contributions to Nation Building through our wide spectrum of various activities and services through empowering rural children ever since the formation in 2011.

The Foundation has been collaborating with partners from various walks of life for the emancipation of children in rural areas from poverty and disempowerment. We have been progressively expanding our reach in terms of population and geography in remote regions. Our impact in the sector of quality education development in rural India has been regularly acknowledged by various associations and agencies.

Strategic Goal 1: Animated Empowerment

The latest National Education Policy published in 2020 categorically declares the acute learning crisis in the nation, specifically in the rural districts. It also connects this to the present state of development for the children in India.

The TJH Foundation has designed initiatives that are rights-based and outlined self-determining decisions for the underprivileged communities. The Planning, Evaluation, Advocacy, and Monitoring that will be implemented by us will make active involvement of local communities in all program-level implementation. Their participation will be vital for planning projects, prioritizing issues, taking action, and tracking the action plan’s progress.

The implementation of interventions in our project areas will be through extensive participation and collaboration of the communities. This strategy will ensure that the aspirations and needs of the local communities are represented at all our initiatives at the grassroots level. The macro impact of this approach will be the true alignment of the programs with the unique needs of the project area communities.

Strategic Goal 2: Progressive Dialogue

Dialogue with the marginalized:

The TJH Foundation will have a regular dialogue with the marginalized communities in the first place through various channels. It will be through awareness campaigns, animated empowerment, and facilitating developmental actions. We will develop the capacities of our staff, partnering agencies, and communities for dialogue with the marginalized children in rural areas. The interventions will be in firm support with the marginalized communities in their pursuit of fundamental rights, dignified living, and entitlements.

Dialogue for the marginalized:

The Foundation along with its partnering associations and collaborators will act as agencies of sustainable transformation through Dialogue for marginalized children. It will be by powerful animation of the dialogue process with various civil society stakeholders and other developmental agencies for the transformation of the beneficiaries in rural areas.

The existing data and evidence robustly reinforce the need for expansion of the initiatives by all the education sector stakeholders for the underprivileged communities. The policy directions in the NEP recommendations demand implementation with seriousness. The ASER data from the past years provides a clear picture regarding the patterns and practices in confirmation with the ground realities.

The solution is that children from marginalized communities are offered accessible high-quality education that is developmentally appropriate. It will empower them with the capacity and foundational skills for succeeding in their lives.

Moreover, the significance of Early Childhood Education has been globally endorsed through the 4.2: Sustainable Development Goal. It expressly targets the objective of the implementation of quality ECE initiatives.

Strategic Goal 3: Promoting Volunteering

The skills, experience, and knowledge and other forms of resources form the Volunteer community can offer much-needed assistance. It is in achieving the optimum impact possible for the life transformation of the children in rural India.

Volunteering denotes the commitment to offer service willingly. A volunteer can perform major work in service projects as per the talents and abilities. Most of the volunteers identify a deep connection between their values and service rendered. They are motivated to offer service due to the principles and values guiding them.

Volunteering has been endorsed by the TJH Foundation as a powerful and practical medium for expanding reach to the children in highly marginalized communities for the reduction of educational disparities. It is our firm belief that sustainable transformation can be achieved through the participation of the people as local or national citizens.

At its core, Volunteering is a very strong expression of a people-centered developmental approach.

Strategic Goal 4:
Resource Development for Communities

As a secular Non-government and Non-profit organization, the TJH Foundation carries out fundraising for catering to its several and various activities and projects through diverse campaigns.

Nevertheless, for catering to the aspirations and needs of the beneficiaries who are numerically expanding every year, we actively seek contributions and funds from all the sections of the society.

Mobilizing resources from Community:

The Foundation will enhance its meaningful engagement with the general community in the urban localities for enhancing their contributions to our various projects. It is with due recognition and respect for their keenness to participate and contribute to our Nation-building and social transformation mission.

We will continue the involvement of urban region communities as our partners in action and design innovative avenues for sharing and giving. The utilization of funds will be updated to the community stakeholders through a transparent process.

Generating funds from corporate firms through Corporate Social Responsibility:

We will identify and initiate dialogue with responsible firms and companies in the private sector in alignment with the Resource Management and Development Policy of the Foundation. We have high ethical processes and systems for the generation and distribution of revenue.

The Corporate sector will be sensitized about the ground realities of the education sector in the rural areas in India. We will endeavor to identify avenues for collaboration on genuine issues for the sustainable development of the education sector in rural areas for marginalized communities.
